Immunogen:

The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human14-3-3ζ around the phosphorylation site of serine 58(R-S-S^P-W-R).

Purification:

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Specificity/Sensitivity:

14-3-3ζ (phospho-Ser58) antibody detects endogenous levels of 14-3-3 ζ only when phosphorylated at serine 58.
